Abstract
In this article, we share a “truth or dare” structure for vocabulary and concept review that draws upon constructivist practices and makes use of students’ intrinsic motivation. We have found this activity to be engaging and productive in supporting students’ recall, conceptual understanding, and application of mathematics. The lesson plan provided illustrates the use of the game to support learning in proportional relationships but could easily be adapted to many mathematical topics.
