Abstract
This article traces the foundational years of the Kansas Association of Teachers of Mathematics (KATM) through archived bulletins from 1926 to 1935. In this formative decade, Kansas math educators documented their work, expressed shared concerns, and collaborated across geographic and institutional lines. Their words and images reveal a professional culture of reflection, innovation, and commitment, principles that still guide KATM today.
